EasyFit Trend - All-in-one Lens Edger

EasyFit Trend: The Milling Revolution

Discover the new optical lens edger tailored for the optical shops. It simplifies the lens fitting for any frame, even the most complex ones. Update your lab with the most advanced and fast edging technology.

EasyFit Trend, edging machine for Rx lenses with block-less loading, provides the same precision and reliability as an industrial lab auto lens edger, with lower prices and a considerably lower footprint. EasyFit Trend automatically defines the edging parameters and calculates the edge profile to match lens and frame.

EasyFit Trend allows your shop to increase turnover and throughput, reducing mounting time. The edging of any kind of lens with simple or complex shapes is quick, and drilling, grooving, polishing and angled cuts for wrap frames are made easy. EasyFit Trend is THE lens edger, perfect for super hydrophobic lens-edging thanks to the zero-force milling process provided by the use of milling tools at all edging stages. EasyFit Trend eliminates any manual process and completes the edging in one single step, avoiding any damage due to lens manipulation.

The “NoBlock” technology allows to performs automatically the centering procedure, avoiding the errors.

The “NoBlock” module enables the loading of the next lens while the edger is machining the previous one. Combined with EasyFit Trend lens edging machine, the “NoBlock” module leads the operator to place the lens correctly, even without specific optical skills, finding and compensating automatically for any error.

NoBlock incorporates

a precise focometer and the Blockless centering for single-vision, bifocal or progressive lenses.

Loading and unloading

totally authomated loading thanks to its dual position loading arm

Continuous running

enabling the EasyFit Trend to work non-stop and maximize the productivity

Single pair

to shape sequentially both lenses, without the operator’s intervention

Absolute precision

and very advanced edging, so no more rework and delays

Green & affordable

works without water, no more purifyng plant and strong reduction of the rejects

PRECISION AND RELIABILITY

Thanks to the milling technology, EasyFit Trend all in one edger gives perfect sizing and perfect bevel profile

NO MORE REWORK

With the wheel used by traditional edger, the grinding is performed applying high pressure on the lens, especially on thick lenses.

This makes the wheel to react with an opposite force which turns out into imprecision and misshaping of the lens itself.

EasyFit Trend “all-in-one-edger” milling technology solves this problem. The milling tool works on the lens cutting away the exceeding material instead of grinding it down, allowing in this way an absolute precision.

The resulting advantage is unnecessary further working and a perfect fitting.

VERY ADVANCED EDGING

Modern eyeglasses are quickly evolving, with new materials, new shapes and new ways to fit the lenses to the frames

NO MORE DELAYS

In order to adapt traditional grinding machines to these new requirements, several accessories and different outfits have been added, including sports lenses. EasyFit Trend “MILLING TECHNOLOGY” is the only one suitable to face the ever evolving market.

The specific features for wrap eyeglasses enable to:

Tilt the milling tool as far as 45degrees in order to match the frame

Use even very small milling tools able to reach the smallest spots

Perform partial steps in order to allow the thick prescription lens to fit into the frames designed for thin lenses

GREEN AND AFFORDABE PROCESS

EasyFit Trend all in one edger works without using water. No more purifying plant as in the old edger.

NO MORE REJECTS

EasyFit Trend “all-in-one-edger” is powered by commonly home available electricity.

With the milling technology you can achieve a significant reduction of the rejects, thanks to the elimination of the cutting force.

Less force means less deformation and a much lower error percentage.

Reducing handling and assembling tests then, even possible scratching and break are reduced.
